Pawan Singh (born 5 January 1986), popularly known as Powerstar Pawan Singh, is an Indian playback singer, actor, music composer, producer, stage performer and media personality. He is known for his works in Bhojpuri cinema. He is widely regarded as one of the most popular and successful Bhojpuri singers and actors.
Pawan Singh was born in Jokahari village near Arrah, Bihar on 5 January 1986. He learnt singing from Shri Ajit Singh (his Uncle). He completed his schooling from H.N.K (+2) School, Arrah. Since his early age he started singing and now his fans call him Power Star of Bhojpuri Industry because of his remarkable singing.
Pawan Singh began his musical career by working behind the scenes, playing harmonium in musical concerts. He released his first album, Odhaniya Wali, in 1997. He gained popularity with his song Lollypop Lagelu in 2008. Since then, he has released numerous albums and singles, many of which have become chartbusters.
